Shane Morrison - BVSc CertSAS MRCVS, - Principal Vet
Shane graduated from the University of Melbourne with first class honours in 1991. Shane obtained the CertSAS in 1997, a postgraduate qualification in small animal surgery, awarded to fewer than 15 vets in Britain each year. This allows him to undertake more involved procedures including Canine Total Hip Replacements, spinal surgery, complicated orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. Shane has been living and working as a vet in East Anglia for the past twenty years. Shane and Charlotte have two sons and a daughter, Cameron, Finlay & Alice. They also have two Border Terriers "Wonga" and "Yarra" and a Siamese "Bindi".

John Prior - MA VetMB Cert SAO MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon
John joined us during 2006. John ran his own Surgical Referral Practice in Northampton for 20 years. He originally came from the Ipswich area and has now decided to return. John has huge experience in the area of Orthopaedics, he has undertaken many complicated procedures including Canine Total Hip Replacements on a regular basis for many years. In fact John was amoungst the first Vets to undertake Hip Replacements on dogs in the UK.

Charlotte is a qualified Veterinary Nurse with 20 years experience. Charlotte now undertakes the running of the surgery.

Rita Singleton - Reception Manager Rita has now been with us for 11 years. Rita mainly deals with our referring vets and referred clients. Rita has gained huge experience over the years and can now give clients a lot of information about procedures before the clients come along and see the surgeons. Rita has 5 chihuahuas!

Davinia Wood VN – Nuring Team Leader (Tuddenham)

Davinia qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002 whilst working at a practice in Sudbury. She  then spent  five years working as a senior nurse at a practice in Peterborough before returning to the area and joining Christchurch vets in 2007. Davinia has a cheeky pug, a Border Terrier and two cats.

Clare Gotts RVN  – Nursing Team Leader (Tuddenham)
Clare qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2008 and has been working at Christchurch since November 2009. She trained and qualified in a local mixed practice gaining experience with farm animals and horses. She has a keen interest in surgical nursing and anaesthesia. She owns a horse called ‘supa’ who she competes at local shows.

Emma Block RVN - Nursing Team Leader (Christchurch)
Emma qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2008 whilst working in a small animal practice in Suffolk. She then spent time working in an out of hours emergency clinic until she joined Christchurch vets in June 2011. As on of the first opinion nurses Emma’s interest is senior pet care and she is currently organising the running of senior pet clinics. Emma has a gorgeous ginger cat called “Bertie”.

Andrea Davis RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Andrea Qualified as a veterinary Nurse in 2003 and has been working at Christchurch since 2006. Her areas of interest are anaesthesia & analgesia. She owns a nutty chocolate Labrador called “Rodney” and a cat called “Binks”. 
 
 
 
Sarah Moss  - Dip AVN (Surgical) Veterinary Nurse
Sarah qualified 1988, and passed her Diploma in 2001 specialising in surgical nursing. She has spent many years working at The Queens Veterinary School Hospital where she gained her surgical diploma. This is the highest qualification that a Veterinary Nurse can obtain. Sarah locumed for five years in various referral centres and has spent time travelling the world.

Kathryn Watt VN - Veterinary Nurse

Kathryn qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002 and has worked at first opinion practices in Norfolk and Cambridge before starting at Christchurch in 2004, giving her many years of valuable experience in orthopaedic and surgical nursing.

Alethea Miller RVN - Veterinary Nurse
 
Alethea graduated in July 2013 after completing the Veterinary Nursing Foundation Degree. She joined us in September 2013 after locuming for a short while. Alethea enjoys Surgical Nursing which she has plenty of opportunity to do with us! Alethea has two cats, "Tiny" & "Cleo".
 
 
Katie Attwood RVN - Veterinary Nurse
 
Katie qualified in 2013 after completing her training at a local practice. She joined us in October and has a keen interest in inpatient care and surgical nursing. Katie has two ponies and a cockerpoo puppy.
 
Kirsty Tully RVN - Veterinary Nurse
 
After completing a BSc in Animal Science Kirsty trained and qualified as an RVN in 2010. Kirsty has worked in a variety of settings before joining us in December 2013. Kirsty's main interests are Surgical Nursing & Anaesthesia. Kirsty is currently studying towards her Nurses Certificate in Anaesthesia. Kirsty has two cats "Mouse" & "Tilly" and when not looking after furry family members Kirsty volunteers with the Veterinary Dept of ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.

After working for 6 yearsb as a kennel assistant/auxillary nurse in a practice in Colchester, Stacey then studied and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in a local practice in 2013. Stacey Joined us in September 2013. Stacey enjoys surgical nursing and in patient care. Stacey has a nutty English Springer Spaniel "Jazz" and a Bearded Dragon "Isla". 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Julie Eley - Receptionist
Julie joined the team in 2005. Julie has a young mad Labrador who himself has had a total hip replacement with us. Julie also has a naughty Lhasa Apso; they keep her very busy!
